La Décadanse Revisited
A limited edition vinyl record by Monika Načeva and David Cajthaml has been released to mark the occasion of the extensive exhibition DECADENCE. BOHEMIAN LANDS 1880 – 1914 /DEKADENCE. ČESKÉ ZEMĚ 1880 – 1914, held in Belgium until May 10.
The record, entitled La Décadanse Revisited, features an 18 minute remix of the famous song La Décadanse by Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin. The cover has been designed by the prominent Czech graphic designer Robert V. Novák and the release is limited to 300 copies only. The record is published by Arbor Vitae Societas, the company who are also behind the exhibition project.
